Where It All Began
beige-cliff started in 2009 when founder Richard Ashworth noticed a gap in the market. Homeowners with damaged terraces were being quoted astronomical sums for complete replacements when, in many cases, skilled restoration could save the deck and their budget.
What began as a one-man operation working from a converted garage has grown into a dedicated team of craftsmen who share the same philosophy: respect the original work, use proper techniques, and deliver results that last.
We have never believed in cutting corners. The timber restoration trade has too many operators who slap on a coat of stain and call it done. Our approach goes deeper, literally and figuratively. We assess the substrate, address moisture issues, repair structural elements, and then apply protective finishes that actually work in the British climate.
